Spam postings

Nudge to moderators - There seems to be a lot of spam postings appearing on some of the forums. Not sure if you've noticed it yet

Re: Spam postings

Try going to page 10 and 11 of General Chat and there are topics about Shemale Wallpaper and a load of foreign posts that are spam. Trawl through some of the other topics and you see the same

Re: Spam postings

How strange. They don't pick up as "unread posts" - maybe because of the dates - 1 Jan 1970. Since I tend to log on to unread posts and don't often go back through the forums I haven''t found them.

Seems a bit pointless really - posting them with a date so far back and so hidden that no-one (apart from you Ian) sees them. If you want to disrupt a forum, post them where they do most damage!

Also, I can't actually delete them, as when I click on them I get the message "the requested topic does not exist". Maybe they are threads we deleted a year or so back but which weren't totally cleared out of the memory.

Thanks Ian anyway.
