The big show for 2011 - it's on!

From the news section on the web site:

The big show is now confirmed for Saturday 15th October 2011 at Symphony Hall Birmingham with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

The Enid are very proud indeed to announce that not only will the show be held in one of the finest venues in the country but will also feature one of the world's finest orchestras.
After a very positive reaction to the new album Journey's End in performances around the world, the band have every confidence that this is going to be the show of shows.
By the end of 2011, the band will have toured extensively in Europe and the USA and will playing at the peak of their ability.
Tickets will go on sale in the Autumn, prices TBC.

We are excited!

 Damn!

That will take more than a year! For me Birmingham re-awakens memories of the worst bus station in the whole country!

GOOD LUCK!

Ah yes, early 80's, pretty gruesome it was. But had you actually surveyed every bus station in the
country? An admirable, if somewhat misguided pursuit. :D

For me the bus station has some happier memories. The first Enid gig I went to was at Digbeth Civic Hall!
I'm not sure that even exists now...

What more could you want? I was at Bush Hall 29th May 2009 - our 10 year wedding anniversary (I put some uploads on Youtube). We were supposed to be on a Greek Island or something, but I managed to divert the celebrations towards London :D It was a great trip, the weather was superb .. and we even managed a Greek meal beforehand in Shep's Bush (home also of the unstoppable QPR). I'll never forget it.

By the way .... talking of Bush Hall and those first marvellous promises of great things to come - things that have indeed come to pass and for which we are truly grateful ;) .... Robert did mention Albion Fair. Any chances of that for Symphony Hall?

OK, so, patience is not my strongest virtue... I have my time-off from work approved by my boss, I have the cashola for an airline ticket from Iowa to Birmingham, but I'm dying for any news about the October "Big Show"! Please, please, please.... is there any news to be had out there? Thanks in advance for any reply!!!
