Please try to come back to Germany, or Bermany or Belmany or Germium or whatever else it is called near the border with Tin Tin Land. Seriously, I believe there is a huge market for the Enid over here. I can even supply a proper mug of tea.

Is anybody going to Birmingham gig on Saturday night that lives anywhere near Hemel Hempstead (Herts). I have got a ticket for myself and wondered if anyone has a space in their car or fancies doing a car share?

Neil - you'd be better off starting a new thread in the Symphony Hall forum. Quite a few people are offering lifts. We will have a car full though and are going from Bracknell, so not via Hemel.

On that day, I won't have to travel 800km to see the band...

They will play a venue called The Boerderij, in the city of Zoetermeer (close to The Hague), which has a seating of about 700. It's a great place, good sound, and best of all, it's probably as close to my home as they will ever get

I may have to try to get to that one - if I am able. I am due an operation which will mean I am on crutches for 6 months, but if at all possible, I shall see if I can make it. I have heard so many good things about that venue. And my passport doesn't run out until a month later...
