Re: CD / DVD?

In view of the general dislike of Alan Moore’s piece, I hope it is not considered for inclusion on the CD and the DVD. I would think no Moore would mean more sales??

I'd find it hard to believe that the great Maxidexterous could not be involved. Good luck whichever way it goes ... never a dull moment eh Max?

Why even think of cutting Alan Moores poem from the DVD, its a beautiful poem and Robert piano playing was superlative . :D

The good thing about DVD is that the full uninterrupted concert can be the main, and the peom can be under the 'bones' section for those that want to check it out.

Excellent idea Russ. I think this would appease most people. I would be happy to see it once more, as I couldn't really catch half of it, and having now read through it would like to watch it with more understanding - but wouldn't want the hassle of fast-forwarding through it every time I watched the DVD.

I agree - having not been able to make it to the Enid / CBSO gig, I am now very keen to hear Alan Moore's performance.

Having looked him up on YouTube (sorry to say that I hadn't heard of him prior to the discussions on here) there are in fact some excellent (& very entertaining) discussions where Alan Moore is interviewed by Stewart Lee. Worth checking out.

Re: CD / DVD?

I went to the website ,entered my voucher code in the appropriate field which then didnt apear to hold. However I seemed to be able to order a pre-paid Qty 1 under order ref TEL11952380 and entered my details

Think Hailey or the guys need to look at the screen shot / work flow online as I have no clue as to whether I have really provided proof of purchase and can just sit back and wait. Unless I am being very dim.

Re: CD / DVD?

I did manage to get the order through - was given an order number and later went back to check on the status, where it said an email had been sent to me at a 10.49 that morning. Still not got the email through so I don't know whether it's working and the email's not been sent out or if the system is just not working.

After stating my piece, AM is fading fast from my thoughts now, so yes, good idea. I would go along with that rather than having to skip it if it was all inclusive.

I certainly agree that the Alan Moore's "Mirror of Love" should be availble as an "DVD Extra" and not the main body of the video. So those who do want to watch it can - those who don't won't have to.
