Fan Song Requests - Colosseum Show 2012

As this MAY be my first Enid gig - although I may get myself to Farnham this year, having planned to go last year before circumstances dictated otherwise - I would love to see Mockingbird performed live...!

@ SWalker...... Yes !! Nocturne..... good one
Re: Fan Song Requests - Colosseum Show 2012
Sadly Aaron I don't think Mockingbird is likely. The SH show was supposed to be a one-off in tribute to Woolly (apart from the Maidstone "warmup").
But you never know...

So the question here is which tracks would work best with the orchestra.
Suggest:
Winter -> Spring
Tripping...
Jessica
Nocturne
The Sun
Cortege
Freelance Human

I'd love to hear Tears of the Sun performed with a full orchestra.
Also Fand, The Mirror of Love, Evensong (orchestra only), Cortege with solo oboe (I love the oboe in Cortege - it gives it the feel of a medieval funeral procession), Spring and Summer, Something Wicked. Also it would be lovely to hear another live performance of the Art of Melody - especially if it ushers in the themes of Invicta

Golden earrings - great choice. I've got Itchycoo Park on tape somewhere ... let's have that rather than Land of Hope and Glory at the end.
Maybe I'm just too old.
To be fair - as it was Tommy Vance and Something Wicked that got me into the Enid I'll be happy with And then There Were None.

Too old for Land of Hope and Glory?! I always loved that as a finish for an Enid concert - though I think they should display the words as they used to on a big scroll at the Touch Me / Six Pieces concerts. I really wanted to sing along at Symphony Hall but ended up humming.
Skye Boat Song - good call. I revisited that a few years ago and now every time I leave work (for some reason) the Enid version starts going round in my head - I can't get rid of it!
But please, no Golden Earrings / 666 The Great Bean - that was dodgy enough 30 odd years ago. Strangely though, I would love to see Wild Thing again.

I was never a fan of the novelty singles. I follow the band for the more serious and complex pieces which is the reason the band are so great.
I realise that there are some people who will like the novelty singles, but they're just not for me....

Don't worry, I suspect some us who ask for the novelty singles aren't entirely serious in our wish to see them performed
'665' does make me crack up though - Robert sounds so p*ssed off when he says 'Yippee'
