I always knew that Golden earrings was an old song, but i had never ever heard it. Having a few minutes spare the other day I checked and found that it was from a 1947 movie of the same name, and the song was sung by Peggy Lee.

when i cam across this thread i was also curious to hear this song as i didn't know that this was also from a movie. i am bored at my office too so went ahead and listened to it. i always liked old song as they are classics so i played it a couple of times too. thanks for this post, kept me un-bored!haha! good trivia too!
