STAND ALBUMS 1&2
Innersanctum have just announced the release of both Stand Albums on CD.
These releases are bootlegs and have not been manufactured from any master tapes supplied by The Enid. They are illegal and infringe the copyrights of EMI, Charisma Records - Bronze Records - William Gilmour and The Enidi who between them own the copyrights in these recordings.
The five Stand albums were originally made during the 1980's as private give away recordings exclusivley for members of The Stand.
They are not of a sufficient quality or content suitable for general release. By so doing Innersanctumn are damaging the reputation of The Enid and all rights are hereby reserved.

LONG LOST VIDEO FROM 1979
A good copy of the video of The Enid at Hammersmith Odeon has been discovered and donated to The Enidi by Francis Lickerish.
Filmed in front of a packed house on
Friday 2nd March 1979, this is the only footage in existence of the band as it was in the 1970's.

Said Robert John Godfrey in a recent newspaper interview,
"This not the Robert John Godfrey show anymore. This is like the 1970's all over again. Journey's End is the best thing I have ever had the honour to be part of and my contributions are just that - contributions."
VIRTUOSO
A Bridge Too Far?
For the last two years Robert John Godfrey has made a serious effort to regain his piano technique - as it used to be in 1969 when, if the plans of his parents had been adhered to, he would have attempted to be in the final of The Leeds International Piano Competition. Instead he went to EMI to work with Norman Smith (Pink Floyd producer) on Barclay James Harvest.
One of the ways he has been doing this, is by creating exciting virtuoso arrangements for solo piano of certain pieces by The Enid - most notably "Childe Roland". Now the band are experimenting with "all live" - unplugged chamber versions of some of our most enduring pieces across the decades.
ENID REDUX
Over the next five years The Enid will endeavour to record all of our past studio albums in enhanced arrangements and available in 5.1 surround sound. These will become the "director's cut" - the definitive Enid.
ARISE AND SHINE
NICHOLAS WILLES
Nic Willes, our latest and youngest member of the touring line up has endeared himself to our audience with his dramatic playing of percussion and his rock solid bass during lasts year's short tour.
Although not present on Arise and Shine, he is taking a major role on Journey's End and the planned extensive touring next year
